I ordered something fun today.
With the casino winnings from the trip and a lot of frugality, I came in well below the budget planned for the last five days. I needed some smaller apparel so this seemed like a good time to buy another t-shirt and use the old ones for fishing. Using an online design too, this was put together and ordered. A person just uploads his or her own images and adds the text. Cool stuff!
No, the new tee is not going to be worn at church, police conventions, etc… but it will be fun just to wear around college towns, at Star Trek conventions, on bike rides, at hippie hangouts, bars, etc.
By the way, I met someone in Waterloo, Iowa last night. The individual has an older van with a bed in it. We discussed van camping / dwelling and he seemed to like the “Trekker Van”. He’s wanting to go that route as well. It’s surprising how many interesting people you run into with the same notion – we just want to enjoy life without all the pressures and shackles of conventional house dwelling.
