Hi and thanks for stopping by! Tuesday was the day of the big move. At first it seemed like there was a lot of stuff but considering that much of it was Dad’s and a handful of other deceased relatives’, it’s not so bad. The possessions were occupying two of these small storage garages.
A good buddy had offered to help with the move but was stricken with a serious illness. That left me with a crew of three people to get the work done: me, myself, and I! That worked out fine. By not paying a buddy to help it meant a nice meal out on the town without feeling guilty.
After arriving home with the Penske moving truck, it was tiring to unload the stuff – particularly the desk. Thankfully, the town’s Baptist minister saw me struggling and called in reinforcements. Within minutes there were three extra men and a woman on-site to help with the unloading! What a blessing!
The van is home now and docked under the carport. Yep, it fits! But it’s missing something – the TV antenna. I removed the aerial and put it on a pole behind the trailer and am now getting 31 stations inside the trailer!
In the coming weeks the van will be getting a good cleaning inside and out. Serena is loving the new place and loves snoozing on the linoleum floor. It won’t be long and Jesse James will be back. He’s been missed!
Take care and thanks for stopping by. Before long there will be some fishing time in pretty soon and, of course, there will be some cool pictures to share.
